Adaptive Ski Opportunities
As part of our adaptive recreation initiative, UCP Explore, we are proud to announce a new collaboration with Christie Mountain of Bruce, WI. Thanks to a generous donation from the Spirit Lutheran Foundation, our organization was able to purchase an adaptive bi-unique sit ski for use at Christie Mountain. With support and training from the adaptive ski team at the Trollhaugen Outdoor Recreation Area, Christie Mountain will be able to offer adaptive ski lessons and rentals at their facility.
Please note that lessons are not yet available as the training process is ongoing and equipment needs are still being finalized. If you are interested in adaptive ski lessons and opportunities in the meantime, we highly encourage you to check out Trollhaugen’s adaptive opportunities.
